Download it from Aminet, OS4Depot, AmiUpdate, Amiga On The Lake, or most convenient and current: "Check latest version" from the Project menu.

******************************

PLEASE NOTE:

If you use Prefs->Datatypes->When select an item, or Never, then Filmstrip
view style will NOT show any images. And it will not show any files if you
have Prefs->View style->Filmstrip->Show only drawers and images.
If WEx doesn't know what type the file is, then picflow.gadget doesn't, either.

******************************

###### [1.4 build 3100] - 2017-07-13
### Added
- Preferences->Preview->Automatically play sound files.
When Preview Pane is open, you may not want songs to autoplay.
- Preferences->Preview->Sound volume.
Preset the sound volume for preview.
- Preview pane now has a volume slider, loop button, smaller play/stop
button, and play time data.
FLAC still does not show total time.
- Palette requester now has a transparent color and new "System colors" to
pick from.
- Preferences->Preview->Show image details.
Show a line at top of image preview with details about image. Handy if not
using Details pane and Status bar.
- Preferences->Preview->Background color.
Set the background color in the Preview pane when viewing images.
Select Transparent from the palette requester to revert back to normal.
-Preferences->Preview->Details text color.
Set the text color for image details. Green text on black background is good.
- Every window now has a close gadget.
- Prefs->Preview->Show EXIF data.
If enabled, the Preview pane is split 60/40 to show JPEG EXIF data
and comment.
- F6 to toggle the EXIF data pane, temporarily.
- Shortcut keys for buttons where appropriate. But as always have been:
Enter = Bold text button (OK)
Escape = Cancel
- Preferences->Preview->Text tab size.
- Striping effect in Preview Sound and Preview Picture EXIF data.
- Content view style shows time for audio files.

### Fixed
- Image scale factor was off 1 pixel. Couldn't tell until started using the
new background color option.
- Filmstrip view style was broken due to a missed variable change.
- The datatype information is now fully shown for the item when it is first
selected, not after picking another item.
- Resizing columns didn't always get remembered.
- Random Code value causinng error in handling Bookmarks.
- Pattern errors weren't unblocking main window.
- Invalid patterns are now reported.
- EditNodeNoDrawer() was expecting the wrong variable, so several default
texts were blank. Then it was potentially setting the wrong name and paths.
- If made permanent changes in Preferences to Bookmarks or Favorites, then hit
Cancel, the changes were not reflected in the main window.
- Top line is remembered when change view style.
- If no preferences file exists at startup, the defaults are saved better.
- Content context menu wasn't honoring found picflow.gadget or not.

### Changed
- Play button is now Play/Stop. No longer recessed; it was hard to see.
- When checking for FTPMount, "Not installed" is now "Not detected" if not
active but installed.
- picflow.gadget is now in the Tools folder so doesn't need to be installed
to use, but still can be. WEx will look in CLASSES:Gadgets first, then Tools.
Thanks to Tuomas Hokka for use of it.
- The way gadgets are added/removed.
- Preview Pane set no none when any sub-window is opened.
- A handful of default preferences settings.

V1.5 build 5000 has been released.

Use the built in updater in the Project menu, Check latest version.

###### [1.5 build 5000] - 2017-08-12
### Added
- Preferences now listens for cursor up/down to change pages.
- Preferences->Preview->Show MP3 tags
If enabled, the Preview pane is split 60/40 to show MP3/FLAC tags data pane.
F6 to toggle the data pane, temporarily.
- View menu->Toggle metadata pane F6
Temporarily toggle the metadata pane for MP3/FLAC and EXIF data.
- Metadata panes support mouse wheel scrolling.
- Duplicate File Finder->Comparison Mode
Compare files by: Filename, Filename no extension, Filename and size,
or Hash (default). Hash mode set in Preferences->Search.
- Duplicate File Finder->Recursively descend drawers.
Option to only search the current drawer or all subdrawers.
- View style->Thumbnail + Details
Unfortunately, if you are using Filmstrip, you will have to change your view
style and save your preferences to get things back to normal.
Also can be set in Preferences->View style.
- Thumbnail and Thumbnail + Details now show MP3/FLAC album artwork in list.
- Preferences->Devices category.
- Preferences->Devices->Show volume label as.
Set one of four different ways.
- Preferences->Devices->Show empty drives.
NOTE: This will mount inactive volumes, like GoogleDrive. The X5000 DVD drive
usually won't show up until you actually insert a disc.
- Archive each item separately. All menus.
For each item selected, LhA archive it to it's own archive, dropping any
extension, and naming it MyItem.lha.
- Preferences->Language category. Switch between languages on the fly. Only
the languages you have installed are shown.
- Preferences->Archives->Open destination in a new tab after extraction.
- Preferences->Archives->Use LhA to extract LhA archives.
More extraction options. See note below about browsing inside archives.
- Improved Test LhA Archive results.
- New installer using the Installation Utility.
- All windows now have resize and depth gadgets.
- Brightness slider in the palette requester is up and working.
- Preferences->Window category.
- Preferences->Search category.

### Fixed
- Preferences->FTP Sites checkbox gadgets got misaligned.
- Preferences permanent changes made also applies to Toolbar, Tabs, User
Buttons, and FTP Sites.
- Striping wasn't correct in Duplicate File Finder results.
- Filmstrip view style was not being set properly in menu locations.
- Sound files weren't always stopped when switched files.
- Some archive functions weren't unlocking the path lock.
- Preferences->Toolbar directional arrows were out of synch at times.
- Preferences->Window position gadgets left aligned properly.
- Get Version now shows the FULL version string, not just the first line.
- Handles Enhancer Pack's Format properly.
- Eliminated the listbrowser flicker.
- Delete does a better job of deleting protected drawers/files.
- Duplicate File Finder opened all results if picked one and hit Enter.
- Changing tabs had some weird results.
- Bug in handling User Buttons.
- When iconify, any preview is stopped.
- Several small tweaks to the palette requester.
- Some menu items weren't being filled in if cancelled out of Preferences.
- Tweaked every window to be resizable.
- When browsing inside an archive, if you pick a file and pick default
extract, only the file is extracted. If you pick a drawer and default
extract, the entire parent tree is extracted with it.
If you pick a file and "Extract archive...", you can select to extract just
the file or with parent tree. Drawer will extract the entire parent tree
every time.

### Changed
- Preferences->View style->Sort devices, moved to Preferences->Devices.
- Preferences->View style->Drawers order, moved to Preferences->Devices.
- Preferences->Operation->Window position, moved to Preferences->Window.
- Preferences->Operation->Iconify, moved to Preferences->Window.
- Preferences->Operation->Search results, moved to Preferences->Search.
- Rearranged Project menu a little.

An update to Workbench Explorer has been uploaded to Aminet, OS4Depot, and AmiUpdate. But the best way to stay current is to use the built-in update tool in the Project menu, "Check latest version..."

###### [1.6 build 6000] - 2017-11-02
### Added
- Preferences->Operation->Escape to quit.
- Tools menu->Download cover art.
Select an MP3 or FLAC song, pick this option to download a cover art image.
Having a Folder.jpg or Cover.jpg file in the album drawer is faster loading
than extracting it from the song.
- Preferences->Preview->Cover art name.
- Preferences->Preview->Cover art dimensions.
Keep original size or set to resize to the specified size.
- EXIF data strings are now translated on the fly.
- Mousewheel can change MP3 volume.
- Volume level is displayed in hint text. Have to move away then come back
to see change. ReAction issue, not WEx.
- Preferences->Preview->Rotate JPEG image according to EXIF data.
- Mute button to MP3 controls.
- Context menu->Set as Workbench background
Set the selected image as Workbench background image.
- AIFF tags are now read.
- FLAC time is supported.
- The "full" player is used for all audio types.
- Tools menu->Convert image...
Images can be converted to other formats, and/or resized, or just
re-saved/re-packed.
NOTE: 24 bit images can not be saved as GIFs, but GIFs can be resized and
saved as GIFS, or saved as 24 bit images.

### Fixed
- Some texts in Preferences had the last letter cut off.
- At search or duplicate results you couldn't cut/copy anything.
- State of some menu items.
- Datatype checking mode was not correct for Search and Duplicate File Finder.
- If scrolled from an MP3/FLAC to a wav the correct thumbnail image was
not set.
- Empty MP3 image tag was not handled correctly.
- Case sensitive find/replace issue fixed. Use SC_COLLATE2, not SC_ASCII.
- Processed files count was wrong for some functions.

### Changed
- Improved the MP3 tag scanner. Faster and less disk access.
- picflow.gadget and jhead are now required.
- Get version method now uses Javier de las Rivas' internal showVersion().
- Image preview line no longer shows filename, but image type, instead.
- Improved the JPEG EXIF data output.
