There is no limit on the number of inches.
Currently the maximum number of points that can be managed simultaneously with multitouch is 64, but the definitive version will have no limits.
In any case, I have never seen multitouch monitors with more than 10 points simultaneously.

Yes, it should be possible. In the specifications it says that it has a USB port for touch.
